Michael obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Bristol, UK and a Masters of Corporate and Commercial Law (LLM) from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), University of London.
Michael completed his Bar training in a Cyprus law firm winning the Prize of the Cyprus Bar Association for passing all Cyprus Bar Association exams with Distinction, ranking overall 2nd in Cyprus.
Michael joined PwC in 2007 and was one of the first members of PwC's legal practice in Cyprus,experiencing from and working for its successful set up and growth over the years.
Michael is an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Cyprus. He specialises in Corporate and Commercial Law with particular emphasis on (Cross Border) Mergers and Reorganisations, international group and debt restructurings and transactions and is a member of PwC's International Business Reorganisations Legal Network Team. He has also special interest in Employment law, Shareholders’ Disputes (including Court
Litigation), Corporate Insolvency and Data Protection. Michael also offers lectures on Company Law both for internal courses and externally with PwC Academy and has been a part-time lecturer of Business Law in European University (Cyprus).
Michael is married to Constantina and has two children, Dorothea and Constantinos aged 4 and 2.
